Job Description
Pinsent Masons LLP is seeking an Associate Lawyer with around 3-6 years PQE to join their Finance & Projects team in Johannesburg. The role involves drafting legal documents related to infrastructure and energy projects, and advising private and public sector clients on a wide range of transactions. Requirements
- Experienced in project agreements (concession, PPP, construction, etc.)
- Experience drafting project agreements in large transactions
- Understanding of South African regulatory environment related to infrastructure and energy projects (PFMA, PPPFA, etc.)
- Technical legal skills in project agreements and regulatory issues
- Experience with client service and client facing roles
- Ability to work in an international team
- Good commercial and business judgement
- Experience in business development activities.
