The Pipeliner I role is an entry-level maintenance position responsible to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on specified pipeline assets under normal supervision, and will assist in other areas of pipeline operations depending upon experience level.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant work experience preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and write English and the ability to perform basic math
- Ability to read and interpret pipeline maps, technical drawings, and technical schematics
- Ability to work in a team-based work environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have basic mechanical aptitude
- Must have basic computer skills: Excel, Microsoft Office, Word, etc.
- Must be familiar with PHMSA and OSHA regulations
- Ability to successfully complete company Haz-Mat training, required DOT operator qualifications to perform pipeline mechanical operations, and mandatory safety training
