Job description
We are looking for a General Engineer to support The Long Beach Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (LBVAHCS). In this role, you will support complex engineering development, planning, and project execution activities.
Determines requirements, conducts site investigations, prepares designs, specifications, and cost estimates, and applies advanced engineering principles to solve diverse and complex technical challenges.
Must be familiar with patient Centered Care Culture in healthcare, have knowledge of healthcare design and understanding of fire codes, building codes, barrier free codes, system, components, cleaning and maintenance concepts, ergonomics and safety criteria.
