Job Description
Welcome to Planet. We believe in using space to help life on Earth. As a Senior Product Manager, you will bridge the gap between Planet’s platform capabilities and specific customer outcomes. You will identify high-value market problems first, then work hand-in-hand with Engineering to decompose them into scalable, reusable technical building blocks combining into solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in product management, ideally within Earth Observation or geospatial analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience launching'solution' products (bundles of data, analytics, and services) rather than just standalone features
- Ability to translate complex vertical needs into clear engineering tasks and user outcomes
- Solid understanding of vertical market dynamics (e.g., government procurement, supply chains) and experience assessing market size/viability
