Lead Software Engineer

Platform Science is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to contribute to high-level architectural decisions, implement scalable microservices-based solutions, and provide ongoing engineering support to our core products. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating technical obstacles, and mentoring feature development teams.

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of total software engineering experience within a robust SaaS or product-driven environment
• Strong coding skills in Java with deep knowledge of J2EE Frameworks, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Proven experience in developing microservices applications and transforming existing monolithic systems into microservice architectures
• Comprehensive knowledge of WebServices (SOAP & REST) and data integration patterns
• Strong relational SQL knowledge
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular or ReactJS) and cloud infrastructure (AWS) is a plus
