Job Description
This full-time position is for a Landfill Operator at Polk County Landfill in Winter Haven, Florida. The role involves operating heavy equipment and processing solid waste in a rotating, split shift schedule. Responsibilities include equipment operation, adherence to company standards, and customer expectations. The company is offering a sign-on bonus and the option to apply through Polk One-Me.
Requirements
- Safe and effective equipment operation.
- Operation of various heavy equipment with equal effectiveness.
- Ability to interpret the rules of State Department of Environmental Protection.
- Valid driver’s license and Florida driver’s license (temporary).
