Job Description
The Solid Waste Fleet Technician position at CareerLadder Group in Polk County, Florida requires a skilled technician proficient in repairing and maintaining diesel and/or gasoline powered equipment. The role focuses on the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various heavy equipment and the proper operation of its components.
Requirements
- Skilled mechanical work at the journeyman level in the maintenance and repair of diesel and/or gasoline powered on and off highway equipment.
- Repair and overhaul of rubber tires and tracked vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance including oil and filter changes.
- Operate both arc and oxygen/acetylene welding equipment.
- Performs repairs both at shop and on field located job sites.
