Job Description
Polyglass USA is seeking a Research Scientist specializing in roofing and waterproofing products to develop new products, improve existing ones, conduct research, and perform value engineering. The role involves working independently, leading projects, and interacting with various departments within the organization. Responsibilities include experimental work, analytical testing, reporting, and participating in industry conferences.
Requirements
- Experience developing new products for roofing and waterproofing applications
- Working knowledge of roofing and waterproofing membrane systems codes
- Knowledge of material science, rheology, viscoelasticity, and solid mechanics
- Lab experience with analytical and mechanical instruments
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work with internal and external partners
