Electrical Engineer

The Port Townsend Paper Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support capital project managers for capital projects, provide electrical engineering and construction support, and troubleshoot electrical and operational problems. The role requires a thorough understanding of electrical safety regulations, ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Support capital project managers for capital projects from inception to completion
• Provide electrical engineering and construction support to mechanical/process engineering capital project managers
• Analyze technical drawings, interpret specifications, and determine the electrical requirements of a given project
• Perform quality assurance inspections on electrical components supplied and installed for projects and maintenance department repairs/upgrades
• Diagnose electrical and operational problems and troubleshoot equipment
• Ensure company health and safety codes are always adhered to
