Director of Operations

Metro Supply Chain is a strategic supply chain solutions partner seeking a Director of Operations to lead and grow the regional business, oversee multiple distribution centers, and drive strategic expansion and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Drive regional growth strategies
• Collaborate with Business Development and VP of Operations on RFPs, solution design, and client presentations
• Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and strengthen relationships with key accounts
• Translate customer contracts into actionable operational plans and ensure compliance
• Facilitate and lead regular business reviews with customers
• Drive the culture of Performance Management and Continuous Improvement in all facilities
• Work closely with the Human Resources team to develop leadership talent and succession planning
• Leverage experience in labour relations and collective bargaining as needed
• Spearhead new business start-ups and ensure a successful ramp up to and including steady state
• Developing continuous improvement initiatives that align with Metro’s "Always Improving" methodology
