Job Description
Posterity Group is seeking a Cardiac/Liver Perfusionist to provide percutaneous cannulation and related procedures to the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. Perfusionists will support procedures like open-heart surgery, liver transplant, ECMO, and VAD management. The role requires competency in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, as well as experience in cardiac bypass and aortic surgery.
Requirements
- Full and unrestricted percutaneous cannulation license in the US or District of Columbia.
- Graduation from an accredited Allied Health Education Program School of Perfusion Technology.
- Board certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
- 40+ clinical cases performed per year.
- Competency in percutaneous cannulation for minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
- Experience in liver transplant perfusion.
