Senior Electrical Technical Engineer

The Senior Electrical Technical Engineer is responsible for providing advanced technical expertise in electrical engineering, guiding project teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of electrical systems.

Requirements

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct detailed electrical engineering analyses, such as load calculations, voltage drop studies, and short-circuit analyses, to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to understand project requirements and develop innovative electrical solutions that meet their needs.
• Review and approve electrical design documents, including drawings, calculations, and specifications, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform site inspections and audits to assess the installation and operation of electrical systems, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee the commissioning and testing of electrical systems, ensuring they meet design specifications and performance requirements.
• Provide technical support during construction, troubleshooting electrical issues, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to resolve them promptly.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in electrical engineering, incorporating them into project designs to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training on electrical engineering principles, software tools, and industry standards to support their professional development and growth.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies
