The Senior Electrical Technical Engineer is responsible for providing advanced technical expertise in electrical engineering, guiding project teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of electrical systems.
Requirements
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct detailed electrical engineering analyses, such as load calculations, voltage drop studies, and short-circuit analyses, to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to understand project requirements and develop innovative electrical solutions that meet their needs.
- Review and approve electrical design documents, including drawings, calculations, and specifications, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform site inspections and audits to assess the installation and operation of electrical systems, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee the commissioning and testing of electrical systems, ensuring they meet design specifications and performance requirements.
- Provide technical support during construction, troubleshooting electrical issues, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to resolve them promptly.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in electrical engineering, incorporating them into project designs to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide training on electrical engineering principles, software tools, and industry standards to support their professional development and growth.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies
