Principal Software/Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are hiring a Principal Software/Data Engineer to work in Laurel, MD. The position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The team solves difficult business, IT, and analytic problems using interdisciplinary approaches.

What You Will Do

Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems; review and test software components; document test results; provide input to system design; develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• 19+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or appropriate field
• Experience designing, deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using Open Stack and other comparable platforms
• Strong Linux and Python background
• Understanding of IT management and operations
