Software Engineer (API)

Role Overview

We are hiring a Software Engineer (API) to work in Linthicum Heights, MD. The position is part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, which aims to shift from manual system security evaluation and authorization to a new model that emphasizes automation and continuous monitoring.

What You Will Do

The software engineer will develop, test, deploy, and sustain various Python-based ReST endpoints, microservices, and data model management capabilities using Django and Flask frameworks. They will also provide middleware and backend support to all system applications.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• Seven (7) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Experience using Django or Flask
• Databased experience using MongoDB or MariaDB
• ReST endpoint development
• Micro service model
