Lead Java Developer

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java Development
• 1+ year of leadership experience
• SW development experience in designing, implementing and supporting highly scalable data systems and services
• Proven object-oriented fundamentals and design patterns experience
• Experience with SQL and/or NOSQL low latency systems
• Knowledgeable about distributed storage and network resources, at the level of hosts and clusters to prevent or mitigate performance issues
• Experience in building and running large-scale data pipelines, including distributed messaging such as Kafka, data ingest to/from multiple sources to feed batch and near-realtime/streaming
• Experience with diverse frameworks and services such as Elastic Search, S3, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka and Spark within AWS
• Able to communicate clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills
• Able to lead with consensus and conviction
