Assistant Controller

Role Overview

Provide high-level support to Corporate Controller to manage a company's accounting and financial activities, including creating timely and accurate reporting, supervising accounts payable personnel, and participating in profit improvement teams.

What You Will Do

Review and develop financial and operational processes, prepare and submit reports, supervise accounts payable personnel, and perform operational analysis as requested.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of general accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience, and strong organizational skills and ability to self-start and self-direct.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of general accounting experience
• 1-3 years of experience working with payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) skills
• Advanced Excel skills including: formulas, pivot tables and lite macros
• Reading and writing command of the English language
• Ability to speak effectively before groups
