Senior Software Engineer (Backend Developer)

QuartzBio is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend Developer) to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for the life sciences industry. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software architecture, programming concepts, and tools, and be able to work independently to solve complex technical problems.

Requirements

• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical documentation
• Design specifications, test plans, and unit tests for individual work scope
• Build new features or enhance existing ones based on defined specifications
• Participate in software testing to identify, document, and resolve bugs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications
• Manage projects and initiatives with moderate complexity
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance
