Environmental Health & Safety Professional

Precoat Metals is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Professional to join their team in Greenfield, IN. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in safety and/or environmental management, manufacturing, engineering or similar, and 3+ years of experience in workplace EHS management. The role will involve monitoring working and environmental conditions, ensuring compliance with state and federal safety and environmental regulations, and implementing safety procedures to prevent accidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in safety and/or environmental management, manufacturing, engineering or similar
• 3 plus years' experience in workplace EHS management
• Experience in health, safety, and environmental in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience with coil coating, metals and manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of state and federal safety guidelines for the workplace
• Knowledge of CAA, CWA, RCRA, and SPCC regulations
• Familiar with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
• Able to read and interpret OSHA documents and internal policies
• Clear and effective oral and written communication
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Organized with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
