Certified Medical Assistant

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Chestnut Hill, PA.

Requirements

• Assist providers with patient care and act as coordinator of care for patients before, during, and after office visits
• Prepare patients for visits, including rooming, obtaining vitals, reviewing intake paperwork, prepping materials, and accurately entering data into the EMR system
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and restock rooms at the end of each day
• Perform laboratory tests as needed
• Maintain medical supply inventory and ensure proper maintenance of medical equipment
• Ensure patients receive education regarding medical treatment and therapies
• Create and promote a positive patient experience and maintain HIPAA compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned
