Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and upkeep of community facilities and equipment. You will also be expected to work independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively with coworkers and residents, and maintain a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Professionally communicate with coworkers, vendors, and residents
- Be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Be organized and able to prioritize
- Identify and report to management issues involving the employees, property or residents
- Maintain common hallways and community room areas
- Turn vacant apartments to make them ready for leasing
- Repair or replace window glass and screens
- Paint and/or touch up paint as needed
- Carpentry tasks
- Basic electrical work
- Basic appliance repairs
- Basic plumbing work
- HVAC repairs
- Perform general grounds duties
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
