Expert in Property Damage

Role Overview

You will exercise your position as an expert or expert in property damage at one of our offices located on the Promutuel Assurance territory. You will receive notifications of property damage claims and determine the circumstances and causes of the damage.

What You Will Do

You will analyze reports, validate information, establish the amount of compensation to be paid, and communicate the settlement offer to policyholders.

Requirements

• DEC in insurance and financial services or AEC in damage insurance or any other equivalent experience
• Permit in good standing from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) of an expert or expert in property damage in insurance of individuals (mandatory) and businesses (an asset)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Master of the Microsoft Office suite
• Autonomy, sense of organization, rigor and respect for commitments
• Concern for providing excellent customer service and developed communication skills
• Advanced mastery of the English language, both orally and in writing
