Job Description
Tends laundering machines to clean sheets, blankets, pillow coverings, and personal articles of patients, and folds and sorts laundry and personal clothing items.
Requirements
- Folds and sorts laundry and personal clothing items
- Hangs clothes on racks according to name and numbers
- Delivers patient/resident's laundry to designated areas
- Ensures patients/residents clothes are ready to wear and not in disrepair
- Follows precautions for chemicals used
- Maintains a clean and organized area
