Service Technician

We are hiring a Service Technician for Whaley Foodservice, LLC, a commercial kitchen equipment repair service company. The job involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC, as well as communicating with customers and branch office. Requirements include a valid driver's license, a satisfactory background check, and a year of applicable experience in commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or commercial HVAC.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required
• 1 Year of applicable experience in at least one skill set: commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or commercial HVAC
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus
• Journeyman License and or CFESA certification not required but would be a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and soft skills
• Good driving record
