Band6:Locum Physiotherapist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Physiotherapist to join our team in Derby. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential physiotherapy care to patients on Acute Medical and Elderly Wards.

Requirements

• Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Experience working in the NHS
• Experience as a Band 6 Physiotherapist on Acute Medical/Elderly Wards
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of physiotherapy practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in discharge planning and knowledge of pathways
• Caseload management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnover of patients
• Experience in liaising with MDT, carers, and families
• Familiarity with ExtraMed (beneficial)
