Consultant Psychiatrist

A vacancy has arisen for a Consultant Psychiatrist in a secure hospital setting. The role will initially cover a low secure service, with future opportunities to work across both male and female medium secure services on the same site. This is a part-time position working 26.25 hours per week.

Requirements

• Fully registered and licensed medical practitioner
• Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists
• On (or eligible for) the Specialist Register
• Approval under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983 is required or preferred
• Experience in forensic psychiatry is desirable
