Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to join our team at Barts NHS Trust in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic tests and analyses, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and patient care.
Requirements
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hematology and blood transfusion
- Proficiency with CN, XN, and IH500 analysers
- Strong skills in blood film morphology
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
