Job Description
Pylon is a small, ambitious team building a mortgage-focused product and is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to own security across the mortgage infrastructure platform. This role involves hands-on security engineering, technical leadership, and end-to-end ownership, focusing on building scalable and secure systems within a highly regulated environment. The team is small, nimble, and emphasizes rapid iteration and team communication.
Requirements
- 6-10+ years in security engineering at high-growth tech companies
- Strong systems and application security background
- Experience with multiple languages (TypeScript/Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, AWS)
- Understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure
