We are looking for a senior Azure DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of our Azure cloud infrastructure. The role involves designing and implementing robust Role-Based Access Control policies, building dashboards to monitor performance, and ensuring cost-efficient deployment and scaling of Azure resources.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including infrastructure setup, management and optimisation.
- Proficiency in setting up and managing RBAC, users, groups and service principals within Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application Insights and related monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience designing and building custom dashboards for resource monitoring and performance tracking.
- Expertise in logging and telemetry frameworks, and setting up proactive alerting.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Proven ability to design scalable cloud architectures and optimise for both performance and cost.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on proactive, preventative solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable mentoring engineers and advising leadership.
