Job Description
Ramp is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Ops Engineering team, responsible for building and scaling internal tooling and infrastructure. The team focuses on improving operational efficiency and leveraging AI to automate workflows, particularly within their internal tools like Retool and Zendesk. This role involves designing, implementing, and improving tools for customer support and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production applications
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, TypeScript, Node.js, etc.)
- Experience building full-stack applications with modern frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.)
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, API design, and database systems
- Demonstrated aptitude for working with AI technologies
- Strong product sense and user empathy
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
