Senior Software Engineer - Python

Senior Software Engineer - Python role in Rapid7's India office, responsible for full life cycle of development, driving technical direction, and mentoring junior engineers. Must have 5+ years experience in software development, expertise in Python, Core Java, and OOP principles, and excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years experience in software development
• Deep expertise in Python, Core Java, and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Experience with Python APIs, FastAPI, Django, and Core Java libraries and features
• Expertise with Core Java features, data structures, and advanced libraries
• Solid experience with dependency management (Maven/Gradle) and testing frameworks (JUnit/TestNG)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and proficiency with version control systems (GitHub/GitLab)
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS / GCP / Azure is good to have
