
Job description
The Senior Manager, Sourcing, will play a pivotal role in supporting RBC's sourcing initiatives across key functional platforms. This role will support internal clients in achieving their business objectives and compliance obligations, while mitigating risks and maximizing value from RBC's supplier ecosystem.
Proactively manage pipeline of sourcing activities, create plans to identify and recommend alternative sourcing strategies that maximize value for RBC. Lead and execute sourcing initiatives through competitive evaluation, negotiate and draft agreements, advise business units on applicable RBC policies and best practices.
Must-have qualifications include post-secondary education in a related Purchasing field or Procurement Designation, 7+ years' experience in conducting sourcing activities, negotiating commercial and contractual terms, and experience running and facilitating RFx initiatives.
