Software Engineering Manager

Realtor.com is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Client Experiences tech community. The role involves guiding engineering teams to rapidly deliver value to consumers and customers through Agile incremental implementation, building scalable experiences, and collaborating with technical leads to define a technical roadmap.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in leading software engineering teams in a technology company, and 6+ years of related experience
• Strong results and outcome-driven focus
• Ability to coach and mentor engineers
• Deep understanding of modern web architectures, popular database technologies, and cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with high-level design and familiarity with best practices and design patterns
• Strong empathy for customers and a passion for exceeding their expectations
• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
