Job Description
The Driver is responsible for operating a box truck to pick up donated items from donors, maintaining accurate records of donations, and providing exceptional customer service. The role requires a dependable and organized individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a motor vehicle records check
- Proven ability to operate a box truck safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations applicable to large commercial vehicles
- Ability to work independently and adhere to a set schedule
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry it for short distances
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating truck controls and handling bags and boxes
