Job Description
The Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) is seeking a Staff Physician to provide medical assessment, intervention, and community-based services to children and adults with developmental disabilities in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. The role involves case management, education, advocacy, and collaboration with healthcare professionals and agencies. RCEB aims to integrate individuals with developmental disabilities into community settings and promote their independence and participation.
Requirements
- One year’s experience with persons with developmental disabilities.
- Licensed as a Physician in the State of California.
- Residency in pediatrics preferred (consideration given to internal medicine or neurology backgrounds).
- Automobile and valid driver’s license.
- Computer literacy.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
