Staff Mechanical Design Engineer, Factory Automation

We are seeking a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Manufacturing team at Relativity Space. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality development, production, and automation tooling for our Terran vehicle and Aeon engine programs. This is a full-time position based in Long Beach, California.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of work or project experience with design, build, and commissioning of tooling and fixtures for manufacturing, assembly and test
• Experience using CAD and FEA-based analysis software (NX and ANSYS Workbench preferred) for structural applications
