Job Description
ReLogic Research, Inc. is seeking a self-starting, highly motivated Aerothermal Engineer to provide aerodynamic, aerothermal, and other design and analysis services to assist in developing high speed missile and aviation technology.
Requirements
- Work with team members, technical managers, and subject matter experts to develop analysis skills relevant to speed missile and aviation technology development
- Conduct aerothermal analysis relating to hypersonic and high-speed vehicle design
- Utilize test data and modeling and simulation tools to predict and measure high temperature material physics such as recession, char, and pyrolysis gases effects
- Generate aerothermal loads database for structural design and use modeling and simulation tools to perform thermo-structural analysis
- Apply aerothermal engineering best practices to existing applications and new developments including test-driven development activities
- Develop written reports, briefings, and other documentation to present internally and to customer POCs
