Senior CNC Software (Applications) Engineer

Renishaw's Machine Tool Products division is seeking a Senior CNC Software (Applications) Engineer to write, test and support measuring cycles for CNC controls. The position requires introducing new technologies, translating/converting and updating measuring cycles for various machine tools. Travel to UK sites and occasional foreign travel is required.

Requirements

• Develop CNC measuring cycles and supporting documentation for various machine tool controllers
• Create and conduct on-machine development tests for new hardware products
• Support Renishaw subsidiaries and customers, providing technical assistance on new integrations
• Conduct training of Renishaw subsidiary staff and customers
• Produce draft user documentation with the Technical Publications department
