Line Handler

Secure and remove a ship's dock lines at port, perform heavy manual labor in all weather conditions, and assist with other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Catches and throws heaving lines from ship's docking.
• Pulls mooring lines down the dock and secure to bollards and removes mooring lines from bollards.
• Ability to train and get approval to operate pedestal crane to move cargo and personnel to/from vessel, required at levels 3 & 4.
• Performs dock inspections prior to vessel arrival.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
