Youth Care Worker - Residential Group Homes - Part Time weekends

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth as a Part Time Youth Care Worker at the Qualifying Houses in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Provide safety, supervision, mediation, and support to young women while following the daily schedule.

Requirements

• Be empathetic, patient, consistent, compassionate, have an honest work ethic, and treat others with respect
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Have a bachelor's degree or 12 Semester Units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Psychology
• Have one year of previous experience employed as a full-time staff at a group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
