The Medical Assistant is responsible for patient care, technical, and clerical functions under the direct supervision of the physician and practice manager. Maintains excellent clinical competency, prepares patients for examination, administers medications and vaccines, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Program Graduate, Medical Assistant
• 1 year Clinical experience (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Upon Hire
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire
• CCMA - National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Upon Hire
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - American Medical Technologists (AMT) Upon Hire
• Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Upon Hire
• Medical Assistant (MA) - American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) Upon Hire
