The Wind Technician Level II takes a leading role in troubleshooting, project scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, inspection, and operations on a U.S. wind site. This position is ideal for experienced field technicians seeking growth and autonomy.
Requirements
- 2+ years of wind turbine maintenance, service, and repair experience.
- Vestas platform experience, LOTO, and certifications preferred (V100 & V110)
- Strong understanding of wind turbine systems and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and travel on short notice to assist on other projects.
- Comfortable climbing to and working at heights, confined spaces, and in outdoor environments.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Willingness to travel from time to time for training or to assist on other projects.
- Willingness to train and mentor other employees.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Successful background check, MVR, and drug screen required.
- Physical and Environmental Requirements: This role requires regular work at heights, confined spaces, physical stamina, and the ability to work a rotational on call schedule.
