Job Description
Roblox is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help design the surfaces that connect millions of users with their best experiences. This role involves leading discovery experiences on core platforms like the Home page, Search, Events, and more, contributing to user research, and mentoring a design team. The goal is to create safe, civil, and engaging experiences for players worldwide, fueled by creative thinking and a passion for the gaming industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, User Experience Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design
- Strong portfolio showcasing visual design skills
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, Maya, or similar software
- Understanding of user-centered design principles
- Expert knowledge of communication design patterns
- Proactive problem-solving and project management skills
- Collaborative mindset
- Deep understanding of the gaming industry
- Knowledge of e-commerce, 3D avatars and gaming experiences
- Understanding of user-centered design principles
