The Facility Medication Nurse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring facility MAR and PACE MAR coincide, and provides up to date medication orders as well as ensures all medications are signed quarterly and provided to facility.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program and licensed as a professional in the State of Colorado is required
- One year of health care experience in hospital, long-term or home health care setting with 1 year of experience with a frail or elderly population is highly desired
- Must be proficient with computer applications such as email, navigating the internet, using electronic timekeeping, and Electronic Health Records
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments
- Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of practical nursing to provide on-going care for participants
- Ability to perform phlebotomy functions
- Skilled in developing and maintaining department quality assurance
