A CNA is responsible for assisting participants in the program for all inclusive care for the elderly with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as showering, eating, dressing, etc. They also assist in the delivery of instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) and restorative care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with a frail, elderly or disabled population.
- Current First Aid/BLS Certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Knowledge of how to use and maintain medical equipment (adaptive, hoyer lift, etc.).
