About
The Rohingya Culture Center (RCC) is a community-based nonprofit located in Chicago’s West Ridge/West Rogers Park that supports the growing Rohingya refugee population. RCC offers a comprehensive suite of services—including case management, job readiness and placement, citizenship and ESL classes, academic support, and youth sports—to facilitate integration and empowerment. The Center also provides religious education, translation assistance for medical and educational settings, and community-building events such as Ramadan Iftar and Zakat distribution. As one of the few U.S. organizations dedicated exclusively to the Rohingya diaspora, RCC plays a pivotal role in addressing the unique legal, social, and cultural needs of this stateless community.
