The Rohingya Cultural Center (RCC) is a Chicago‑based community organization dedicated to supporting the Rohingya refugee population and raising awareness of their persecution in Myanmar. RCC offers a comprehensive suite of services—including case management, job readiness, citizenship classes, ESL instruction with childcare, academic tutoring, youth sports, and religious education—to address the social, educational, and economic needs of displaced Rohingya families. Since its founding in 2016, the Center has expanded from basic assistance and community gathering spaces to full‑service programs that also provide medical and school translation, as well as culturally relevant events such as Ramadan iftars and Zakat distribution. As one of the only Rohingya‑focused NGOs in the United States, RCC distinguishes itself through its deep cultural expertise, community‑centric approach, and commitment to empowering refugees toward self‑sufficiency and integration.
