Maintenance & Engineering Manager

Our client is a fully accredited supplier of pork and bacon goods and they are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Maintenance and Engineering Manager to become part of their ever expanding team. The successful candidate will manage and develop the Maintenance and Engineering function, coordinate and supervise engineering and maintenance personnel, and ensure the safe working of all employees while maximising efficiencies.

Requirements

• Engineering qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical, including 16th / 17th Edition
• CAPEX management experience
• Strong people management experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Food Manufacturing
• Ability to demonstrate experience of departmental budget control
• Strong IT skills – competent user of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of 'Navision' is an advantage, but not essential
• Ability to communicate at all levels, both written and verbal with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure without supervision and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work on own initiative and take initiative
• Results, goals and measurement metrics orientated
