Job Description
The Briquet Plant Controller is responsible for financial and accounting operations at our three briquet manufacturing plants. This position will improve financial analysis, financial reports, inventory controls, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cost savings, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 5-10 years of manufacturing accounting experience
- CPA or CMA certification (in-process a plus)
- Prior experience as a Plant Controller
- Standard costing experience
- Inventory costing, valuation and control experience
- Robust experience with the general ledger
- Experience with ERP systems
- Highly proficient in MS excel
- Proactive mindset that seeks continuous process improvement
- Ability to multi-task, balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong achievement focused and commitment to deliver results
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
