Engineering Intern

Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC is a leading manufacturer and marketer of charcoal, fire logs, and other products. The Engineering Intern will learn and apply basic engineering principles to perform manufacturing engineering assignments and assist in continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a regionally accredited college or university program leading to a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other related major
• Good academic standing expected
• Manufacturing process support
• Manufacturing process analysis and design
• Oral and written communications of analytic results and creation of formal report
• Study, and analyze plant assembly processes
• Develop and document plant assembly processes
• Assist in continuous improvement efforts focusing on Quality improvements, Line balance optimization, Safety/ergonomic improvements, and Overall efficiency improvements
