Intermediate Design Position

Role Overview

Under general direction, performs routine to moderately difficult design assignments which require the application of fundamental design techniques in accordance with company and industry standards and codes.

What You Will Do

Establishes design criteria, prepares detail and layout drawings, reviews manufacturers' prints, and supports field assignments.

Requires a high school graduate with vocational-technical training and 7+ years of experience, or a 2-year degree in drafting/design and 5+ years of experience.

Requirements

• High school graduate with vocational-technical training in basic drafting technology
• 7+ years of related experience, or a 2-year degree in drafting/design and 5+ years of experience
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of clients, managers, designers and engineers
